1. Last movie you saw in a theater?

Hmmm its been a long time since I went with my friends… But the last one I saw was a stupid movie… "27 Dresses" pretty stupid… the worst was the Miss. I am Perfectly responsible Simple plain Jane" heroine and her even more dumb dresses. Its from the makers of Devil wears Prada… but my strong suggestion is please don’t go by the name of the producers!!!!

This was written on thrusday… but didn’t post it… but aftr that I saw the Spiderwick Chronicles

I reallly liked the movie…. And they have drawna lot of inspiration from Harry potter… ;) may be dts why I liked the movie:)

2. What book are you reading?

Danielle Steel's "Sisters" a nice book actually:) I think… as in… im still reading it:)

3. Favorite board game?

Ludo monopoly snake n ladders;) (ya ya.. Kiddish I know;))

4. Favorite magazine?

"Inside outside" ,"Design today"- dnt worry… its not some porno mag… ;) it’s a magazine on pretty looking houses… architectural stuff… interior designs… etc:) it was my once upon a time dream to bcm an architect;)

Hmmmm der is a yardley perfume that my mum used to use long back… I used to love that…

6. Favorite sounds?

Sound of waterfalls… water gurgling in a stream or river… water dripping… raining… beach…

7. Worst feeling in the world?

Feeling unwanted…

Oohhh…. Whether I have to meet my boss today!

Hmmmm pizza huttt, KFC?????? Dey take std 15 min… im not too sure if its fast.. But I know its junk and that junk qualifies to be under the category of fast food;)

I have only jus learnt… but even in my "learning" classes… d moment I have the car for myself… I drive faaasstttt.. :) really love the feel:) other vehicles? Yup I drive them also reaaalllyyy fast;)

13. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?

Not really… am not allowed to as im allergic to dust;) and its my parents opinion that stuffed animals have loads of dust in them;)

Coooolllll so damn coool:) if I am in my room.. Safe n sound… I think its amamzinnnnggg…. Looking at it lashing its way thru is just so sexy…

Well… I dnt have a license yet… but im technically supposed to drive my dad's 1st car… maruti 800;)

Hmmmm most definitely yes… but I guess with a little more happiness :)

Oohhh… I can be both… but I m pretty cheerful in the mng… can wake up at anytime in the mng:) but with the right company… I can stay up in the ngt too:) frankly speaking… I got to bed to simply dreams of nice thngs :")

I dnt know whtz the implication of both… so I think the best thing to do is to leave them both alone:)

Beach… somewhr shady… with lots of trees n all:) but smwhr near some fresh water place…

ideally…. I wud want to chill out in a hammock… in the beach… with a nice "pink mango" and a good book:) oooohhhh…. I can jus hear the sound of the waves…

Its been toooo long since I wrote some thing,… and I think I shud before its too late…

Wht do I write about? Okie I have decided… I am going to now tell you a story…

But our story is like a bollywood movie that has many heroes and heroines. Ooh sorry… a minor correction… many heroines and one hero … no... its not a love story… please… dnt mistake me… the heroines are not behind the one “hot” hero… its not a masala flick…

This is a fairytale.. filled with many angels… and beautiful spirits… and truly wonderful people… And this fairytale about their friendship… true and genuine and absolutely original…

Once upon time.. long long ago… lived 4 Princesses… and a Prince Around the beginning of 21st century… In an enchanted beautiful land filled with lots of love… and cute things lived my characters… Welcome aboard on this journey covering the lives of…

Well… now I shall go about introducing my characters to u… they pretty much resemble the Disney Characters…

♥♥♥ Princess Aurora♥♥♥ is her father’s darling daughter… this brat being the 2nd born was not spoiled just by her father… but even by her elder sister… so… she turned out to be this very nutty… very caring… very bubbly…highly animated (especially her eyes)… a live wire… who makes everyone around her also sparkle with energy and enthusiasm… she is the nonstop jabber queen… she could talk all day and still talk sense for most of the time…she is a wonderful friend and a very creative Angel…

♥♥♥ Princess Belle♥♥♥ is this smart and lovely free-thinker who loves to read and write… go on adventures within her own imagination and outside... She is not shy and is not afraid to speak her mind, especially in tight situations. She is very compassionate and takes care of those in need. Belle can also be stubborn… but is still the most loving creature… Belle is a Rebel and Maverick…Her love of books and knowledge can bowl u over…

♥♥♥ Princess Cinderella♥♥♥ is the only child… the supposedly spoilt brat of her family…

(French: Cendrillon) is a popular fairy tale embodying a classic folk tale myth-element of unjust oppression/triumphant reward. ( or at least I hope so) she is the very energetic, chirpy, bubbly, hyper sensitive Smiley girl of the lot. She tries to be there for her friends when they need her but is stopped by a variety of reasons varying from curfews to parents and to many other such tight spots…

♥♥♥ Princess Jasmine♥♥♥ is one of the most sharpest girls around... and there is strictly no messing around her… She is spunky, free-spirited, intelligent, but can surprisingly be quite emotional and sentimental too…she the sweet rebel. Fighting her way thru each and every norm placed by this society. She is a very sensitive friend… a very stylish young lady in her own league… she is smart.. and in our times… and language… they would call her… a “kick ass babe”…

♥♥♥ Simba♥♥♥ our sole hero… most of the times literally he is that… he is the savior… a nice sweet guy… with a sensitive heart…and a considerate soul… he is really there for any one in need… he is the absolute sweetheart.. and is very loving and caring… he has got a complicated thought process… but once we understand him.. he is no longer the maze u think he is…

They all led completely different lives and blissfully unaware of each other’s existence … they had their own friends… their own likes and dislikes.. and they were happy with their lives… until one day…

no no... all hell did not break loose... not heavens also actually.. i dnt know.. may be u guys should tell me wht happened.... wht say?

Royale Prologue:

Princess Aurora’s father went to far far away kingdoms to conquer and rule…and like this, once when he went to Persia, he fell in love with a small quaint Kingdom… and felt his darling daughters should be brought up only there so that they can get the best of splendors… that the world can offer… and hence without any further delay he brought his daughters and queen to this kingdom and built them a summer castle and made them comfortable… for a long while all was fine… until the King started thinking that his daughters need to go beyond this kingdom of splendors out in the real world… for they were his sole heirs…but for that big bad world they have to have a solid footing in their culture… so that they do not lose their basic identity… and so the king again set forth to make preparations for their home coming… he got the best of scholars to tutor his princesses, and the choicest of locales to build their manor… and without further ado… the Princesses were escorted back to their homeland…where they belonged… their homeland was this paradise where all the creatures lived together in harmony… and the princess were about to do same…plus of corz have a bit of their own type of fun…

Somewhere around the same time… Princess Belle’s father had set forth on a similar journey… and discovered yet another beautiful place not far off from the Kingdom where Aurora lived in Persia.. in fact even this kingdom too was a part of the erstwhile Persia… but they were considerably set apart by the distance… and with the same hope of giving his children the best, this king settled down in his kingdom… and this went on for many years until the king felt his daughter’s thirst for knowledge will not be quenched any more in this land how much ever perfect it was… so he too decided to send his darling daughter back to their homeland… and here he kept looking for that perfect school that would both keep his daughter happy and satisfy her craving for knowledge…but could he just leave her all alone at some Royale Boarding school? He felt it will break his heart if his daughter ever felt lonely… you see theirs was a very close knit family…so Belle’s father arranged a journey and a castle for his queen and Princess… and whenever he came to their homeland for vacation to spend time with their family, he and the queen cooed like turtle doves… and spent as much time as possible with each other… such was the story of Princess Belle…

And where was this homeland? Both Aurora and Belle belonged to two kingdoms adjacent to each other separated by a monastery. Now this monastery was very well known for their scholars in the Science arena… Aurora and Belle were both very curious about the different laws of nature… and the science behind it…and as destiny would have.. they met eventually at this monastery… for science… and came to be studying together.. In the same year and in the same Rank under the same Master…when two such people meet.. sparks are but natural… and these sparks are of genuine friendship and companionship… and who are they to evade fate? And they ended being the best of best friends…

And around the same time Princess Cinderella was getting her education from the land of beautiful gardens… she too was being brought up a little far away from where she was born, but she had an amazing time anyways as the land where she studied was filled with merry fairies and cute and naughty elves… Cinderella had but a few problems… her mother was a bit strict with certain old fashioned ideas about life… for example… she felt that her daughter needs to only get married and her son in law will take care of the kingdom… try as much as she might Cinderella could not get her mother to get to agree to her that she was not ready for marriage. So she kept trying and her mother also kept trying… ultimately her mother decided that it was high time her daughter went back to their homeland… for she felt that her daughter was not willing to get married coz of the lack of “culture” and the obvious distraction of the merry elves and fairies…so off she transferred Cinderella to her homeland… and the queen started feeling that her daughter was not like Princess enf… as in… she felt she needed some Princess training… so she started looking for an appropriate academia…

Now have we missed Princess Jasmine? Definitely not… how can I ever miss the spunky rebel??? Jasmine was keen on setting forth on a journey to a land far far away… as she had heard that it had everything that she always had dreamed of… but then again… Jasmine was her father’s 2nd daughter… and the spoilt brat of the family.. and so naturally her father was not all that keen on sending her away on this long journey… he kept looking for ways to get her interested in something right there… in their own homeland… but Jasmine kept her foot down and said that she really wants to go… so that’s when her father decided to strike a deal with her… he told her that she has to take up Princess Training for 2 years then even after that if she feels the urge to go on this journey she may do so…so all settled… Jasmine’s father too was on the lookout for this ideal Princess Training academia… with which he hoped… he could put his daughter in another track… and at the same time keep her happy…

In the meantime Prince Simba led an altogether different life. He went to a top notch wizard school which was started by a disciple of Gandalf the Great. And had to become a mage like all the boys of his age… but Simba being the eldest son had to run the nation also someday. So he had to be trained to be a Prince too… and so… Simba first attended the Wizard school and then decided to take a break before joining the Royale Duties Management Training Academia… Now Simba was always taught that a prince should only behave like a prince and mingle and act like a prince at all times… and so.. his fun was pretty much curtailed to the snobbish lord’s sons and daughters… he always kept getting the feeling that his life was not complete… he kept getting the feeling that even in the most fun times… he could not enjoy it as much… he kept feeling that there was this string in his heart that kept pulling him back from actually letting go of all inhibitions and become a child at heart and enjoy… so… he kept wondering… what was that bit that was missing in his life so many years… that he was longing for.. that key to his heart…

Hmmm well… let him keep thinking… lets move on…

Now that I have given a considerable milieu on my characters… I think I should move on to the place where this story happened… so? What all am I going to explain about? Well… of corz the castles… and the enchanted forest… and most obviously the academia that all the respective parents are looking for…Let’s start with the castle…

Now due to some technical problems… I am postponing the release of “Regal Atlas” that would talk about the castles and lands… and “Magic Music and Mayhem” that would talk about the Academia…sorry for the inconvenience caused…

Fête of Fire…

Fête of Fire was a carnival… where there were merry go rounds and monster sized swings…the giant wheels were SO huge that reached upto to the clouds… there were tarot readers and crystal ball gazers… there were rope dancers and dancing elves…

The star highlight of the day was the fire fairies synchronized air show. It so happened that the fire fairies did a spectacular show every year by forming super designs in the backdrop of the night sky… with diamond stars as company for their dazzling light shows (something like our present day laser shows)

Now before I go further, I think I should explain how exactly the show happens and how the seating arrangement is made.

Imagine an amphitheatre… where all the audience sat all around a podium right in the middle of the theatre… and the performers gave their performance on the podium in the middle of the theatre… so… the fire fairies to give their performance went high up in the air and gave their sparkling performance… so… the light of the fairies falls on all the audience… and fairies are beautiful… and when they are out there giving the performance of their life… they jus sizzle and dazzle… and their light is like the slight pinkish radiant glow on a fair maiden’s face when she has jus experienced her first kiss…

And these fairies always gave started their show by giving an air formation of the Zodiac of the month… and the accordingly the tarot readers and the face readers and the crystal balls gazers would give free readings for that particular Zodiac… and since all of them knew magic… they could not be fooled by anyone… and then the formations would be of a fireworks or Christmas trees or a story will be told…or jus a dance but all high up in the sky… in the air… it was always beautiful… and always absolutely spell binding…

And after the fairies show the elves always gave a dance performance that had variants of aerobics, baba karam, tango and tap dance… they were especially brilliant in their synchronization… it was like as though they were all programmed to be soooo uniform… and after the elves came the pixies… they were funny creatures and they mostly came out with funny plays… but the entire Fête was characterized by the liveliness of the creatures and the merry events… the Fête was always a place where friends met up and had an amazing time… and this Fête happened once in a month… every 5th…

Other than this there were a also unicorn rides… there were two types of unicorns… the flying ones… and the running ones… actually all the unicorns knew how to fly… but the difference was in their age… it was like.. They were not authorized to carry people while they fly until they were 6 yrs old… you see.. When a baby unicorn is born… it learns to walk and play within a year… (it’s truly a sight to watch them play… the babies are very friendly and always keep frisking around…) and they start to learn to fly by the time they are 2 yrs old… but their playful nature makes it dangerous for anybody to fly with them… and the unicorns are eligible for a kind of license for flying with someone only after they reach the age of 6… frankly speaking they are playful even when they reach the age of 20… but u know elders… and the so called wise people… they hardly understand they youngsters today.. so a little bit of serious looking face and viola… the unicorns are ready to get their license to fly across the world… and their license is a beautiful star in their forehead… its magically drawn there… it starts with 3 stars for amateurs and 5 stars professional expertise… now these stars are pretty small… around the size of our thumbs… and are lilac in color… and they are set in the unicorn’s forehead like a tiara… or a pretty head band… just imagine… all unicorns are stunning white in color… and their manes have beautiful pale blue long locks of hair… and the tails are also the same beautiful pearly blue in color… and in their forehead are these glittering lilac colored diamond like stars…

So… coming back to our Fête… these unicorns always have a wonderful grace that’s a hallmark of their own… and this grace combined with their speed is a one ride you wouldn’t want to miss…there were many things more… any ways… this is one Fête that generally made a small difference to its audience… Coz u c… any1 can make a difference if u can jus bring a small smile to that person’s face for that day.. that small smile can go miles in making a positive impact in that person’s life…

And it so happened that these unicorns also flew around the fairies when they give their show… so.. they jus keep circling the fairies slowly.. while the person sitting behind them watches the show from a more closer point of view and a any day more enchanting position to watch something so lovely…and so this Fête was an occasion very much looked forward to by all the youngsters looking for some frolic…

Nymph’s Day Out…

Now… where are our Princesses? Well they are there… safe in their castles… now… Belle and Aurora had seen this Fête so many times that they just got addicted to it… it was one carnival they never missed… it was planned for and a date was allocated to it by default… but there was a small hitch this time…

A minor problem had erupted in the court of the Aurora’s father’s kingdom in Persia… so… there was small threat that the miscreants there might do something to the king’s daughters in Metelytsia… (btw… Metelytsia was the home land of Aurora) and her sister Ariel (whose description I shall give in the near future) so… naturally… their mother the queen refused to grant them permission to attend the Fête…she said their father had written to her stating the danger they were in… Aurora and Ariel were feeling too upset… they were very nice girls and they never asked for anything that was wrong or physically impossible… so now when their mother was refusing them so bluntly.. they were feeling frustrated… she never even considered letting them… and but finally after a week of bad moods a letter from their father arrived… the girls didn’t know how to feel… frankly they were dreading the contents of the letter as it might come as a strict warning for the girls to stay put in their castle itself and not to venture out into the enchanted forest… coz u c… their father was very protective of his daughters…

Their father had written to them stating the grave peril that might come towards them.. as they were the apples of his eyes… all this only made the girls feel very bad… as they might only be further imprisoned in their suites without even being able to venture in to the castle grounds…they read the letter with growing dread… but then suddenly their sprits rose… u know why? coz… he had mentioned at last stating… “I know it’s very dangerous for you girls to venture out and frolic around as usual… but I also know that my daughters love the world outside and their spark and liveliness is fully attributed to their play times and fun outside… if u can devise a way to make both ends meet I give u my full consent to do what you please and go where you please… “ so as the girls read the letter they felt good.. they knew their father would never make them unhappy… sooooo the naughty goblins thought out a plan… simple but very convincing…

Their plan was that this time Aurora and Ariel had to disguise themselves to be from a normal villager’s family… to attend the Fête… so when date was nearing by they got more and more excited… you see.. they were fun loving girls who liked to play pranks and were almost always upto something naughty… so… now when they faced with the prospective danger… they couldn’t wait to fool everyone… the concept of a danger just around the corner and they dressing up like a commoner to fool the supposedly dangerous people and attending the Fête and having so much fun right under their nose was something that amused them very much… they were looking forward to it so much… and since Belle was supposed to accompany Aurora and Ariel… she couldn’t dress like a Princess either… but did she complain? Never please!!! She was a naughty sprite at heart and she was game for any prank… so the three girls decided to get dressed like farm girls… and leave after sun down… they had already hidden some old shawls and cloaks in the stables… and on 5th evening the girls all huddled up in Ariel’s suite and were excitedly discussing the coming evening… Belle had already informed in her caslte that she was staying behind in Aurora’s castle for the night…it was already half past seven.. The queen mother generally came to bid good night to the girls at 8.. And their ladies in waiting would get them their dinner immediately after that… so…they were waiting.. and waiting and waiting… after what seemed like eternity… the clock chimed 8…

And lo… their mother came swept into the room to bid the girls a good night… Okie… one hassle down… where was their dinner? The evening’s excitement and thrill made them feel hungrier… and five minutes after the queen left the ladies in waiting entered and placed the dinner… the girls simply dug in… they were simply starving… and then after they finished the delicious dinner the rang the bell and their escort appeared and cleared their dinner… now the girls were really free for the night… and boy wasn’t their heart thumping loudly???? They were excited and eager… they den went about setting their beds in such way that it looked like some1 was sleeping into them…

They then slowly crept into the secret door behind Ariel’s cupboard that led to the secret passage… this secret passage led all the way upto the fountain near the horse stables… it so happened that only the girls knew about this passage way as their father had taught only them… (Probably he knew that they would be more in need of it than his queen, for all their naughty endeavors) and so… they set forth…

And soon enough they reached their stables… now they were all clad in their night clothes… but that was rich enough to betray them anywhere… so they took out their old clothes and changed into them and wore their cloaks on top of these old clothes… and soon they looked like farm girls to their satisfaction… did I say their satisfaction? You bet… !!!

According to them they looked like commoners… but the reality was that they were so lovely that no amount of rags could make them look bad… poor princesses… they thought they had fooled everyone… but they still looked radiant and lovely beyond words…

Any ways… they had decided to go to the Fête and so they set off… off thru the entrance of the enchanted forest… this part of the enchanted forest was called the Unicorn’s Crest. The unicorns… though gentle and playful were highly magical creatures… they could stun anyone with a bad heart and bar them from entering the forest by raising a invisible impenetrable wall… and so when the girls reached the Unicorn’s Crest… they gave their real identification… they had to.. moreover the girls had many friends in the unicorns… so as soon as they entered they started to look for their friends… they had chanced upon some baby unicorns and tamed them… now they were barely 3 yrs old… but they could make lovely and safe companions… their names were… Antlia, Aquila, Auriga. They were named after the constellations that were seen when they were born…

So when the girls called out to their companions they came speeding towards them and halted… ready and waiting for the Princesses… and soon the Princesses mounted the unicorns and they set off into to gallop…( you see.. it wasn’t safe to fly on carnivals days as the security goblins would be on high alert and they would arrest anybody who they felt was a cause of danger… ) and so the girls set off… and they were chatting away merrily and they reached the Fête at last… now they dismounted and started looking around… there were many small shops that sold enchantments… magic bracelets (goblin made and guaranteed) spell books and magic potions… and lovely fairy rings and charms… eternity bands and forever use secret diaries… every turn held a promise of more amusement and better fun… and as they were roaming around… they heard the announcement that the fairies show was about to begin… and so the girls then mounted the other unicorns and flew up in the sky… slowly as they were circling the podium.. the fairies show began… and the girls felt elated… after all.. all their efforts had not gone waste… and they managed to see what they had come for… they had the times of their lives… happily dressed as farm girls…

And after the Fête the girls slowly crept back into the castle grounds upto to the fountain… and changed and went back to their rooms and fell blissfully asleep…

Ok.. now that they are sleeping.. I think we should leave them alone for the time being…

Well… dnt feel sad… they are always upto some prank or the other… don’t u worry… we have lots more…

Carinosa – dance of love

Now where was prince Simba? He was trying to enjoy his break…but much to his discomfort he felt everything around him lacked originality… there was a certain lack of life.. and spark… and it was this liveliness that he craved for…

It was during this break that he chanced upon a fête… and so… Simba had got a balcony tickets, and sponsored the tickets in his balcony for all his friends… I guess… that was the reason for him to restrict himself to the balcony seats… while almost everyone else was out in the carnival ground playing and enjoying… now as he was sitting in the balcony and scanning through the crowd…

There was an announcement suddenly that the fire fairy show would begin in the short while… and his eyes fell on a beautiful damsel riding a unicorn… she had two other girls with her… they looked excited and the spark in the girls life was to die for… she just was life itself… she was sooo bubbly that it seemed like her enthusiasm was just spilling over… her laughter, her smile… she seemed jus like an angel to him… and then when the fairy show started… her face was like sunrise out the morning fog… she had a radiance and glow that was driving him mad…

He felt liberated just watching her… Simba’s little heart did a somersault… he had never experienced such freedom… it was what people would call soul liberalization… and he promptly fell in love with her… did u hear a symphony??? Sure u did… when a handsome young prince falls in love with a beautiful girl… it is but obvious the world celebrates with music and dance… and so… Simba’s friends all rejoiced at the prince’s new found love… but there was a tiny problem…

Simba did not know the Girl… now wasn’t that unfortunate? So Simba put his heart and soul in search of this girl… all he knew was that she was a commoner, which was quite obvious from her dress… but her face was that of royalty… she looked and behaved royal… but her clothes didn’t quite fall into the place… now isn’t that confusing? And moreover he only managed to see little of her face and that too from pretty far off… so Simba was breaking his head over the complication – his love!!!!

Simba kept thinking.. how could he love a girl so much?

In a second did all this happened…?

My heart was my own… But now its presence unknown…?

How is that all in a second?

The Carinosa the elves were doing just seemed to be written for him… they seemed to have peeped into his heart…

Wht do I write about? Okie I have decided…

I am going to now tell you a story…

But our story is like a bollywood movie that has many heroes and heroines. Ooh sorry… a minor correction… many heroines and one hero … no... its not a love story… please… dnt mistake me… the heroines are not behind the one “hot” hero… its not a masala flick…
This is a fairytale.. filled with many angels… and beautiful spirits… and truly wonderful people…
And this fairytale about their friendship… true and genuine and absolutely original…

Around the beginning of 21st century… In an enchanted beautiful land filled with lots of love… and cute things lived my characters…

Well… now I shall go about introducing my characters to u… they pretty much resemble the Disney Characters…

♥♥♥ Princess Aurora♥♥♥ is her father’s darling daughter… this brat being the 2nd born was not spoiled just by her father… but even by her elder sister… so… she turned out to be this very nutty… very caring… very bubbly…highly animated (especially her eyes)… a live wire… who makes everyone around her also sparkle with energy and enthusiasm… she is the nonstop jabber queen… she could talk all day and still talk sense for most of the time…she is a wonderful friend and a very creative Angel…

♥♥♥ Princess Belle♥♥♥ is this smart and lovely free-thinker who loves to read and write… go on adventures within her own imagination and outside... She is not shy and is not afraid to speak her mind, especially in tight situations. She is very compassionate and takes care of those in need. Belle can also be stubborn… but is still the most loving creature… Belle is a Rebel and Maverick…Her love of books and knowledge can bowl u over…

♥♥♥ Princess Cinderella♥♥♥ is the only child… the supposedly spoilt brat of her family… (French: Cendrillon) is a popular fairy tale embodying a classic folk tale myth-element of unjust oppression/triumphant reward. ( or at least I hope so) she is the very energetic, chirpy, bubbly, hyper sensitive Smiley girl of the lot. She tries to be there for her friends when they need her but is stopped by a variety of reasons varying from curfews to parents and to many other such tight spots…

♥♥♥ Princess Jasmine♥♥♥ is one of the most sharpest girls around... and there is strictly no messing around her… She is spunky, free-spirited, intelligent, but can surprisingly be quite emotional and sentimental too…she the sweet rebel. Fighting her way thru each and every norm placed by this society. She is a very sensitive friend… a very stylish young lady in her own league… she is smart.. and in our times… and language… they would call her… a “kick ass babe”…

♥♥♥ Simba♥♥♥ our sole hero… most of the times literally he is that… he is the savior… a nice sweet guy… with a sensitive heart…and a considerate soul… he is really there for any one in need… he is the absolute sweetheart.. and is very loving and caring… he has got a complicated thought process… but once we understand him.. he is no longer the maze u think he is…

They all led completely different lives and blissfully unaware of each other’s existence … they had their own friends… their own likes and dislikes.. and they were happy with their lives… until one day…

no no... all hell did not break loose... not heavens also actually.. i dnt know.. may be u guys should tell me wht happened.... wht say?

One fine day in the romantic month of February… dawned a beautiful Wednesday.. no im not going to tell u any fairy tale…. Fairy tales dnt exist in our world… no can hav dt "" happily lived evr aftr"" life… ( yup.. personal experience) Well coming to the point… im here to write abt this most amazing valentine of mine… Valentine '07 im not a flirt to hav a different valentine every year… hey I dnt ever hav a valentine… Yeah my social life kinda sucked until now… (go ahead draw up as many associations as u want to for dt…) hmm gting bk on track… Dis year I didn't quite hav a date wth hrithik or his likes;-) but den at 9 30 in the mng I got a call from him… V '07… He gave me very simple instructions… Meet me at ten sharp… I startd running arnd… getting ready… u c I got hyper at d thought dt d D day has finally come:-D I thought with real time glee…. Hello!!! I was obviously excited to meet him… having a date wth him… I finally finished getting ready n reached the place at 10… I was looking arnd for him.. but it so happened dt this guy had planned a whole series of tasks for me to finish n ""earn"" my entry to his super sexy palace… wher my date is rgt nw… and whr I wud be handed my surprise… When I went I found I was the only girl… not dt d others were guys… well I shall explain dis bit a lil while later… I went to the spot n was waitng der… for quite smtime….

Well dt smtime seemed like forever…. U c I was waitng for arnd 45 min….. actually he came at 10 45… den told me… "hey… u knw wht… ders a tneey weeny problem… im not quite ready to meet u…. so can u like wait for smtime? Plz…. " I was thinking… ok… here's my dream date… I cant possibly turn him down… jus coz hez a lil busy… and moreover all he said was to wait…. Not to leave him n go… So 4m arnd 11 im sitting a white glossy walled room… with trendy doors that lead to Gods knows where… then I started getting a mild back ache due to sitting there for like 3hrs.. don't start gapping… the best is still to come.. I waited patiently… well im a woman… woman is supposed to be epitome of patience…

hey.. dnt think I did my waiting bit whole heartedly though… I had a hearty round of cribbing… but little did I knw dt this amount of cribbing was way too less.. And that more were just round the corner… well… it became 2… and he was no where to be seen… I decided to look around for him… after shooting loads of questions to almost every passerby… and in the process crossing a labyrinth of similar looking corridors with lots of zombie like creatures doing something… Gods know what… I saw him… blissfully talking with another girl… I felt my heart beat faster…
<>not because of the excitement of seeing him… because of real anger… I could feel the blood rushing to my face… still keeping my temper in check I went towards him… the moment he saw me… he apologized.. (finally… ) I thought… thank God! At least the man thought there's something he has to apologize for… !! He then told me.. it was some kinda official work about which he was talking to her… uc I was his valentine… he was supposed to shower all his attention on me… he then proceeded to tell me that something urgent came up… so he wouldn't be able to meet me for the time being… He told me to have my lunch… giving me his card… I was really starving… I told him thanks.. and went up… I would have bought my own lunch… (Which I did eventually) but I thought for his bad manners I had to teach him some lesson.. Making a girl wait for such along time???? Which gentleman would do that???? Its absolutely scandalous… but on going to the place he told me to go I found there was almost nothing I could buy using his card… so I bought some junk myself… I went down at 2 30… went to my (now) old seat… and sat down.. preparing myself mentally for some more delay… but I kept telling myself… he's ur dream date… don't even think of turning him down… mum will be so happy if u hook up with him… At 3 15 he came to me all smiles and gifts… Man!! would'nt i jump from a cliff for those smiles????

Part 2 continuation:

He was talking something… wait… was he looking flustered????? Please don’t tell me…

But it so happened that he was… really flustered and embarrassed…

And then struck me… what I was seeing and hearing was something not so good… from his face n body language I could understand this much… that he was really upset about something…

I then stopped day dreaming about him and paid attention to what he was saying rather than drooling over his looks……As though brought back down to earth in a crash…

I said “ excuse me? Did I hear right? U expected someone else and I was sent here by mistake????????”

I wished I was deep deep deep… in the ocean or high up in the skies of lost in some dense dangerous forest… I wished was anywhere but here… I wished everyone in this world would have forgotten me….

Can anybody even imagine? I go on a much awaited date and my date is in reality expecting some pretty blonde and waiting with gifts selected and chosen for her?????

I hated myself at that time for having been an idiot and let myself be carried away so much… I was mentally scolding myself for having been such a fool…

You see we have this stupid community where our friends can also interact with others friends of ours and even hook up at times…

And one such dreadful disadvantages of this dumb community was to plan n set perfect valentine… it was a game where the best friends of the guy will choose a girl whom they think will make a perfect valentine for their guy friend and vice versa…

So one of my date’s friends knew me and he thought I would make a wonderful match n set me p on this day… so now I can happily blame him atleast for the confusion…

So coming back to our story… this date of mine just confessed that he was waiting for another girl… not me… (he confessed that when he could have confessed so many nice things) but now he was looking apologetic and I just heard a morsel of a word that in some remote context meant “I can make it up to you… right away”

Did I hear that now???? Ok… looks like sun is rising up after all…
My hopes were rising with it…

Any ways… I then heard the magic word again from him…

“I would love to make it up to you right away but my day is a little more held up for some more time… can u please…… wait????? Aaaargh!!! What does this guy think of himself???? Making me wait for half the day… idiot…

I said “listen… its ok about the confusion… if I get out now I might still just catch my friends who are going to hitch a ride to The Land of Far Far Away… so your making up bit could probably be put to rest its ok… I am fine… really…“

He said “ no no no please in my family nobody has ever treated or let any girls hope dash… u had come here for a good time with me… I have to make sure you have a nice time… on such an auspicious day that too!!!! “

I said “ dude… listen to me… its ok… I shall leave now.. if u still think you should make it up to me… then we can probably meet up some other day…”

Was I not convincing enough about the fact that I can wait to have a nice time with him??? Well I guess he got the exact reverse point… he thought I am just playing around with him… I have all the time in the world as long as it’s for him… I just want him to plead to me more… or some crap like that and he said ‘’ I insist… please stay for some more time… please????” this statement with a combo of a very highly adorable cute puppy face… (his own face only… but it was kinda puppy like cute one)

So I had to resign myself to wait for him again for some more time…

It was already 4pm… I went and sat down… (in MY old seat only) and was waiting for him to come… I thought ok… let me entertain myself… I will call my friends and find out what they are up to…

I scrolled down the contacts list to get to my friend mocha’s number… I dialed it… then I waited jus when I thought this phones getting a long time to connect probably I should cut and call again… “””CONNECTION ERROR”””

I thought it was weird… hello??? Was somebody else trying for me? And my call was getting clashed with them? I thought I should just wait for a second… then redial… it was taking a long time this time too…. Ok… now that I positively absurd… then suddenly it flashed “””” NO NETWORK COVERAGE””””

I was truly flabbergasted… no network??? For Airtel?

Just then another mighty truth struck me… sh*t!!!!! that means I have lost touch with the outer world????? I can not contact anyone?

I was literally in tears.. I cant even talk to somebody… my date’s busy… my life definitely sucked!!!

I submitted myself to my state and prepared myself to wait… all I could for now was to hope… hope that atleast this guy would come fast n take me to a nice place……. Little did I know this was just going to be a big big big bubble… that was going to break the moment he came near me…

Any ways… I started playing in my mobile… a stupid game called pinball… in my old mobile Nokia 3220… then suddenly my mobile’s display dimmed… then came back again... For moment I thought probably it was part of the game when ever u scored…

Then suddenly it went off completely… after showing a very delayed warning of “”””LOW BATTERY””””

My friends who know me would also know that I am COMPLETELY handicapped without my mobile… how mad I get without it… but here I was with more and more unpleasantness being heaped and dumped on me and all I could do was absolutely nothing…

So I was thinking… probably after so much bad things my evening will be good…

4pm became 5pm… 5 pm became 6pm… I was still sitting there in that whitewashed glossy finished room fighting sleepiness… yes I was really sleepy… and tired…. Tired of doing nothing… so mentally tired too…

Then he came… looking tired himself… and said that he’s juist on the verge of finishing something he’ll just finish it in a jiffy and in another few minutes he’ll be out… please don’t go any where… by the way did I mention that the café was also closed???? And that I didn’t even have water to drink??? Or even a coffee? Or even a simple toffee also? Well whatever… I said ok…

He left back to his den cum maze without as much as a backward glance…

Then 6pm became 7 45pm… I was at my wits end… I had half a mind to just even leave without telling him… but my parents had taught me that its not manners to leave a guest’s place without bidding them good bye…

So I waited…. Then he came…. finally when the clock struck 8 30…

I was fully overboard now… he came to me and said “”” I am so damn sorry…. My computer got hung up and had to wait for it to revive”””

I looked at him said nothing…. It was more of a cold stare… no more drooling mind you… I had long decided that this guy is not worth a girl’s second glance... never mind the first one… mistakes are seldom meant to be repeated…

Here came the last straw… he said he was really tired for the day… and so he found another date for me…… !!!!!!!!!

Ok that’s it… peace out!!!!!! And if in my life I catch you ever again… any where???? That will be the last day of your life…

The glossy walls were in the company... the maze n troll like people working there are all the BPO executives… the various levels of entry difficulties are all the security people who act n talk like they own the world… and like as though we are some kind of beggars…

The wait was absolutely true... the fact that TCS ruined my valentine’s day is a sad fact….

I had been there for an interview… they are one of the most mismanaged… red tape filed organization I have ever seen…

It sucks… it’s the worst start for anybody’s career... want to know the real story???

A Bend In The Road…

Sometimes.. small gestures go right into your heart and refuse to budge from there. Similarly some ppl whom u meet in the walks of life turn out to so different… even before you realize… they turn out to be a real life hero :-)

I had started writing this blog so many times.. but I guess Goddess of English Language didn’t quite co-operate;-) but here I am.. Trying my best… that’s in my spirit uc… “Don’t give up dt fast”… if u wanna get something… and If u wish for something with all your heart…. Den the entire world conspires to make u get what u desiredJ sounds familiar?

It’s from the most amazing, fantastic, feel good book ::: Alchemist.. Its one of my all time favorite books…

Speaking of never giving up… and trying again and again… I have to talk about a few people I have come across in my life…

One of dem is my own aunt… another is an actor…

I’ll start with my aunt… J

Shez a simple lady from a remote village in TN… she got married to my uncle (my mumz big bro) when she was just 17.. after 3yrs she gave birth to a beautiful baby… sorry… handsome baby boyJ he was the first legal heir in my family… my grandpa’s 1st son’s 1st born son… J

He became one the most naughtiest childJ… when he was around 10 months old… we’re planning his b’day celebrations alrdy… den most unexpectedly… he had fits… it was not very intense… just a mild attack… his parents freaked out… he was taken to the doc and dts when we came to know dt… d nurse who was supposed to pull out the baby… caught the child by his neck… tampering with quite a few important nerves in d process…

His entire growth process came to a standstill… slowly… he became a physically and mentally retarded child…

The only movements he used to do were to shake his head to n fro… and hit his leg on the bed… sometimes he used to make some indecipherable noises…

Hats off to his mum… who never lost hope… with the lil education dt she got… she wrote God’s praises.. hymns… prayed her heart out… my uncle would carry his son everyday… out for a walk… sleep with him… talk with him… get him gifts.. toys… even though his son wouldn’t use or understand any of it…

My grandpa… considered him his lucky charm… would not leave the house b4 he spent sometime time with his grandson… in short he was d most loved child in my entire family…

Dey took him to almost all d leading neurologists in TN.. But to no avail… dey admitted him in a place specially made for curing such children in Besant Nagar… He was now 6 yrs old… dt year was extra special… we made him cut cake, decorated the entire floor… invited all the inmates… and dir families… hosted a dinner… we knew he was happy… 6 months flew past… and it was time for him to be discharged n take bk to my native… my aunt was supposed to do certain exercises for him.. the pitiable fact was dt in spite of spending lakhs on his treatment nothing was fruitful…

And sometime in march 1996, he breathed his last…

My brother gave me new outlook towards life and people facing such difficulties in life. He taught us to see retards as lovable family members and not as a loss/liability in the family. I started having a special respect for the families who fought with earnest hope and never ending love. Families that stick together and fight for a rightful cause:: restoration of their loved one back on track of healthy life.. Independent life…

Such is a family that I came across recently in Nilgiris Chennai.

He is a celebrity, very good actor, son of a leading figure in the higher echelons of police department, right now acting in a debatable role in a leading Tamil serial in Sun TV.

I was with my parents just picking up some stuff in the store when I saw dis cute girl, she had boy cut, a nicely cut face. Tagging along with her enthusiastically picking up this n that was a young boy… almost her height… he was looking pretty normal.. but at times he made some sounds… indecipherable ones… but we simply thought he was probably just jesting around… den we saw d actor guy coming into the store… calling out to dis girl.. apparently his wife… and he was fondly patting this boy’s head n shoulders and now dis guy made louder sounds… like as though he was telling him something…

Later another day I saw this guy standing the back of gypsy… and going for drive…

Sometime later, my mum read out an article in a local Tamil magazine…

It seems that boy was the only child of the couple… he suffered from autism i guess… I really dnt know what that state of being is called.. But it seems the mother of the child is going for special classes to learn how to take good care of him, and dey have dropped the idea of having another child so that they will never have to divide their attention to him…

If one doesn’t call his real love… I don’t know what real love is then… it takes a lot of courage, love, trust and open-mindedness to opt for this path in life...

As its always said… everyone is provided with 2 choices in life… one is easy… would lead to lot of very predictable turns…

But the other… the road less taken.. Is what makes all the difference… when I was asking a friend of mine whether I can change my destiny… she said “sure you can... But trust me... Even thatz written…” probably it is… but all the difference that is made is the heartfelt satisfaction that you get… by opting to take the tougher path.

Both these families had an easy choice to just drop off the boy in a nearby asylum… both the families are rich, they could have probably just hired a servant to take care of the child… but to shower their full love on them.. And making their lives easier.. Just a wee bit.. Is what makes all the difference…

So finally... here i am... i have been thinking of writting a blog for such a long time.. but it nevr quite happened... well... finally here it is...

my very first inspiration to write a blog was my most amazing valentines day;-)

okie... im sure my friends reading this hav started smiling and others obviously wondering...

but my V day story is another blog.... it has to wait.....

First I have to explain why the name "Kindred Spirits"

its my small dedication... my acknowledgement to my alltime fav book...

"Anne of Green Gables"

dts officially the first favorite book of mine.... i kept dt book wth me for over a year.. not willing to read it at all... jus coz' the intro was way too draggy... (or rather so i thought)

but hmmm dt bit is one of my alltime favorite bit of imagination...

okie.. i knw i hav said the word alltime fav many times.... well its quite obvious isnit?

i love the book.. way too much... and with my other blogs u'll understand who is a kindred spirit.... and the ones in my life..
